What is Key Club?

Key Club is an after-school community service club at Stephen Decatur High School.
Throughout the year, we host various events and fundraisers. We're always looking for new members. This site is our springboard--it includes info on upcoming events, photos, press releases, and more. Reminders

Meetings: Regular Key Club meetings will be held in Mrs. D's room after school on the first and third Monday of every month. The next meeting will be Monday, March 1st.

District Convention: If you are interested in attending the Convention the registration and fee of $167.33 is due to Mrs. D by February 25th.

February 23rd Meeting

At the last Key Club Meeting:

  • Next year’s officers are as follows: President is Taylor Tobak; Vice President is Jenna Brower; Secretary is _; Treasurer is _; and the Editors are Kathrine Bakke and Rachel Thompson.
  • The District Convention will be help from March 19th to March 21st. The cost is $167.33, and registration is due to Mrs. D by Thursday, February 25th.
  • Key Club will be participating the Carabbas Dinner Fundraiser on March 11th. All members are expected to sell at least two tickets, and the proceeds will support Haiti and District Convention. More information will be available at the next meeting.
  • Key Club will be hosting a walk for Project Issac to fundraise for Bubba Man Can. The walk will take place sometime in March or April, and if you are interested in being on the committee let Kelly Marx know. For more information visit www.bubbamancan.com
  • The spring blood drive will be held on Tuesday, March 23rd. More information will be available closer to the date.
  • The scrapbooking committee will be meeting sometime next week to start on the project.
  • The District Project is the trash pick up around the parking lot and tennis courts every Friday after school. Every member is required to sign up for one of these Fridays.
  • The net meeting is March 1st.
